Henrico, VA November 12, 2021 – Care Systems has been awarded a contract to provide automated scheduling and timekeeping to the 900 staff of Henrico County Police Division (HCPD). Care Systems plans to use their experience in public safety, especially police and sheriff, to bring together timekeeping and scheduling in their CareWare software suite, and to do so in a way a way that meets the Police Division’s needs for a system that:
· Meets the 24/7 demand for scheduling and timekeeping 365 days a year
· Accommodates the wide range of assignments and shift structures used at HCPD
· Tracks secondary employment assignments and court times
· Presents a standardized system that works for both FLSA and FLSA-exempt employees at HCPD
· Allows different lengths and types of time reporting periods
· Interfaces with existing the Payroll and HR system (Oracle)

Henrico County Police Division (HCPD) advertised via a Request for Proposal in January 2020 for a new system. Following the evaluation process, which included an several demonstrations and a BAFO round, Care Systems Inc. was selected as the successful vendor and the contract was completed in July 2021.
